Becky Ellsworth, LMT, CPT is a fully licensed, insured, and nationally certified massage therapist and certified personal trainer (CPT). Becky is known for having the highest standards of professionalism. She takes the time to listen to her clients’ concerns, find the root cause of the problem, and educate them on how they can incorporate changes into their lives to maximize neuromuscular pain relief and feel better.
Becky specializes in a variety of massage modalities including medical, deep tissue, sports, pre- and post-surgery, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and restorative relaxation. Her experience and advanced knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, her palpation skills and intuitive approach, and her listening skills allow her to customize each session to fit each client’s comfort level, from mild pressure to a more aggressive deep tissue approach.
Becky earned her Associate’s degree in applied sciences with a Dual Therapeutic Massage Certificate at the Community College of Rhode Island in 2003, and obtained her national certification in massage therapy in 2004. In 2006, Becky received the RI Chapter Meritorious Award through the national American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and in 2007 was awarded the RI-AMTA Government Relations Activist Award. In 2013, she received her certification as an Oncology Massage Instructor through the Alliance of Clinical Oncology Massage (ACOM) program. Becky is board certified with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is also a certified personal trainer with the National Council on Strength and Fitness. Becky received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2019 and is working toward a M.A. in Higher Education Administration, both from Southern New Hampshire University.
