At Blackstone Massage Therapy Center, we are committed to bringing the benefits of therapeutic massage to the greater Rhode Island community. As part of this effort, each therapist offers a unique perspective on alternative healthcare and lifestyles that enhance the health and wellbeing of our clients while administering the best possible care.
In 2006, Christopher Adamo was elected by the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) to be its Delegate to the national conference in 2007 and in 2008. In this capacity, Christopher is responsible for bringing the concerns of professional massage therapists across Rhode Island to the AMTA national conference, as well as representing the general public on a national level. At the 2007 conference in Cincinnati, OH, Christopher worked with other committed therapists from across the U.S. on key issues surrounding massage therapy and the alternative healthcare community. He was able to experience the democratic process of the AMTA, a thriving organization that’s dedicated to bringing the benefits of massage therapy to everyone.
Christopher also serves as the Wellness Director at Brokers’ Service Marketing Group, where he continues to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the people in that organization through on-site massage therapy, ergonomic consultation, and health education. He has taught stress reduction classes involving meditation and breathing techniques, and initiated numerous discussions on positive eating habits, weight loss, exercise, smoking cessation, and body awareness.
Tom Foster has participated in a variety of community service activities in Rhode Island.
